It can be hard to find time to test your new tent before a long winter trip if you are a fully employed mother and wife. But there is solution for everything! I went on Wednesday night after work, picking up kids from the kindergarten, cooking dinner and waiting for my husband to come home from gym. I only had to sit in the car and drive to the closest valley. I started on a groomed ski track up towards the end of the tree line. It took me an hour form the parking place and i was very grateful for the compressed snow on the track. The few meters i skied off the track and behind a knoll me and my pulk were plowing through half meter of fresh powder snow. Setting up the tent worked great and i had cozy evening and a second dinner served just an hour after i started to set up the camp. The next morning it took me exactly 1 hour and 20 minutes to have breakfast and break down the camp, another half an hour to get down the car. At 9:00 i was sitting in my office, hiding the bag with ski pants under my desk.

Dinner almost cooking!
I hit the sack with the sound of snow crystals falling on the tent fabric.
